Our new Reel du Muto features fictional and sport/cascade demo shots showing how the Muto can be used in a variety of configurations and with different types of anchor points.
To demonstrate the stability of the system, we did not use a gyro-stabilised head.
Its ease of use makes it a great asset for both InDoor and OutDoor shoots. For most shots, a filming crane, even a telescopic crane, could not have replaced the Muto. Often too cramped and inaccessible by lorry, with damaged and unstable ground or above the water in the axis of the river over several dozen metres, here is a selection of possible shots made only with our product. Several single- or double-line RIG methods were used, as well as various types of anchoring points.
All the plans have been made without a gyrostabilised head in order to demonstrate the efficiency of the system before installing a gyrostabilised head. It is of course possible to install and fly with this type of head! Maximum weight of the camera/gyro head set, up to 50 kg.
Since 2014, we've mainly been using a mini FLightHead, which is a fairly light and very efficient head, but thanks to our standard Mitchell mount, we can accommodate all types of gyrostabilised heads and all types of cameras.
